The Situation
LEDSpace needed an installation guide for their single-colour LED strip pack that would reliably serve non-technical consumers setting up a complete smart lighting solution at home.

The Problem
Translating multi-step wiring, driver connectivity, controller configuration, and power supply installation into a visual sequence accessible to users with no electrical background was the core documentation challenge.

The Brief
Create a consumer-friendly A4 installation guide with technical line art diagrams for every wiring stage, safety-first content, minimal text, maximum visual clarity, and a QR code linking to online support resources.

The Outcome
The guide enabled confident self-installation by consumer end-users, reduced installation support queries, and reinforced LEDSpace's positioning as a complete, user-friendly lighting solution brand.
Our Approach
How We Did It

A full review of the LED strip kit components was conducted — mapping the complete installation path from unboxing through driver connectivity, power interface wiring, and remote controller programming.

A clean A4 layout system was designed with a distinctive lavender brand accent matching LEDSpace's identity, keeping the guide visually distinctive and immediately brand-aligned from first open.

Technical line art diagrams were developed for each wiring stage — cutting to length, connecting the driver, interface wiring, and controller setup — reducing installation ambiguity at every step.

Safety-first content was placed prominently throughout, including warnings on voltage compatibility, IP rating limits, and correct cutting line adherence — all formatted for consumer comprehension.

A QR code linking to online resources and support was integrated into the guide, providing a digital extension of the printed documentation for users needing further guidance.
